Below you will find key information on the treatment.
At the Esthetique clinic, epilation treatments - i.e. removal of unwanted hair - are performed using the Vectus medical diode laser with a wavelength of 810 nm. As the only device of its kind in the world, it is equipped with a Skintel reader that measures the level of melanin in the skin and automatically adjusts the working parameters, which virtually eliminates the risk of burning. The laser emits a beam of light that is absorbed by melanin, the pigment of the hair. Melanin absorbs the light, resulting in the thermal destruction of the hair follicle.
The treatment is completely safe and performed by experienced Esthetique Cosmetologists.
In order to be removed by laser, a hair must have at least a little pigment in it. Therefore, white, grey and very light hair cannot be removed by laser. Any other hair colour can be treated with permanent hair removal.
It is necessary to wait a few hours so that the skin has time to recover from the treatment performed.
